Following consultation with the States of Guernsey, CT Plus will operate a Saturday service on weekdays over the Christmas period, between Christmas and New Year. Historically, there were significantly fewer services operated in the Winter than the Summer, however more recently CT Plus and the States of Guernsey have established an all-year-round timetable where services outside of summer are not reduced. CT Plus also operates a Friday and Saturday night service which historically did not exist.

The key dates affected are Thursday 27, Friday 28 December and Monday 31 December. A Saturday service will operate on these days as we know from previous years’ figures directly after Christmas the very early morning service is little used during these two days before the weekend, and on New Years’ Eve. The late night services N1, N2 & N3 will operate on 27 and 28 December, but not on 31 December.
Other notes:
*The late shopping buses continue tonight (20 December) with additional buses leaving Town Terminus at 9:30pm.
*A normal service will operate on Christmas Eve.
*New Year’s Eve will operate as a Saturday service (with the exception of N1, N2 & N3 late night services).
